In a month it took several trips back and forth to get my husbands truck fixed. Ordering a part for it(understandable) called me saying to bring the truck we have the part, I left it and home 2 hrs later called saying to come to get it cause they didn't have the part. Got the part and took it over that part. While waiting on the part the fan continued to run after the truck was turned off and would run the battery down. Put on charge and the next morning the Radio/GPS/Cameras and the driver-side window wouldn't work. When I took it in to have the thermostat and sensor on I told them to check all the items that had stopped working. I was told it sounded like the battery which I left the truck and I called saying it was the battery I gave the okay to install a new battery. They call several hours later saying it is ready. I go out and the hood isn't closed thankfully I saw that and closed it but they hadn't checked the radio etc. I walked back in and the truck was taken back in to see why and was ask were we supposed to check that. Yes, it was the first thing I said when I dropped it off at 8 am. So they took it back and said it needed modular put on. I waited a while longer and was told they didn't have it in stock and would have to return it. I took the truck home and we went to Logan and a radiator house that goes over to the thermostat comes off spraying antifreeze out and pouring out to the ground. A clip came undone. Had to get it towed back to Thornhill which they kept until and fixed it once the modular came in. Also was told that my truck didn't have the batter cover attached and it was. No need to take it off considering it had a lid that came open to give access to the positive terminal to be able to charge. I had a conversation with the Manager and he assured me that he would take care of my concerns he called me to ensure that the truck was in running order and I was able to pick up the call. During all this, I had to get rides there and back which was an inconvenience. The overall experience should have been handled better instead of having me back and forth and relying on others to bring me. We have purchased at least 10 vehicles from here including when associated with Mike Ferrell Ford. The last few have been with Thornhill only. Thankfully not every experience has been this way. But with this truck over the 4 yrs which time it came in for simple things and never been simple with the repairs. We love the truck just wish the work was double-checked and listen to the customer that knows their vehicle.

Brought my 2018 Silverado in for its service, approximately 58000 miles, not driven to death as you can see, I asked for the complete service special which is posted on their web site, the cost is 210.00 plus Wv sales taxes, when I received my vechicle back after about 1 1/2 hrs the cost was over 275.00 for the same service offered on the “complete service specials “ less the wheel alignment that I didn’t receive, “too busy schedule latter next week” when I questioned the service writer he was unaware of the offer on the web site and offered me a discount price on the alignment, it’s nearly a 100 mile trip back and forth to the service center, I’m supposed to be back for the alignment and replacement of my rear brake pads next week which is another 220.00 plus whatever discount he will give me for the alignment, I’m thinking about this return to the service center ?????

Mounted and balanced 4 tires . Put them on wrong per request , was explained to technician and was on the invoice raised black letters out . Visible to looking at the trax . Charge on invoice didn’t seem right but ok , was charged for 4 tires disposal and I took 2 home which was no big deal just an oversight. But the tires wrong I don’t like , just don’t know what to do surly not paying for to be fixed . Suggestions ?

Went in for oil change, inspection sticker and possible front brake pads only. Front brake sensor read 89% then 3 days later indicated they needed serviced. They quoted me $1,300 for front and rear pads and rotors. When I asked them why I would need rotors at only 29,000 miles their response was that it was "just a suggestion." They said that my pads were still good but was worn to where the sensor was alerted. I asked how much for just pads and their response was $500 for front and rear. I DID NOT NEED REAR PADS!!! Worst service experience I've had in 20 years (4 vehicles) and I did not get the inspection sticker because I would not let them do a $1,300 unnecessary service on my brakes. Only service I will ever allow them to do is recalls and oil changes. I no longer trust their service department.

Work was satisfactory but was delayed for parts for week. I was without truck and still didn’t get tire monitor replaced because of delay. Replaced front rotors and rear brake hoses and a caliper parts price just under 300 dollars and labor just over 500 dollars. I think was a little extreme.

The length of wait time was acceptable. The cost of the standard service was acceptable. The cost to change a fuel Filter was not $50. to have the Vehicle handed off to a different Technician to unscrew the filter and screw on the new one, incurring more wait time. The original Technician should have been able to preform this task. This process will be taken care of personally in the future. The cost of the filter was reasonable.

One of the parts of the AC replacement was hard for the dealership to find so had my car in the shop for almost 4 weeks which I understand was out of their hands. But no rental cars were available the whole time so thankfully was able to use a family member's car. The main issue was, my car was finally finished and the next day, while driving, it started making horrible noises. Come to find out, the whole plastic undercarriage on the front end had many bolts missing from being reapplied. Due to this, it was dragging as I drove! How does a service station leave bolts out of an essential part of the vehicle? The dealership did replace everything and make it right but please for others safety, make sure bolts are in before letting cars leave the dealership. I mean it was there plenty of time to make sure it was safe when leaving. On a good note, the AC is working great.

Took my 2018 gmc sierra in to check rear end making noise. They told me it had to be rebuilt. Unfortunately I had had it in for an oil change back in October and they said it needed a seal on the rear end and they replaced it and 8 months later everything has to be replaced. It seems like a big coincidence that I had never had any problems until they replaced the seal!Then they tell me they’ll keep me informed about the progress, another lie! I had to call to get any updates for 2 weeks and then they said they had all the parts except for the gear oil and it would be another week just to get the oil, ridiculous !! Then I was told that they would assemble everything while they were waiting on the oil and that was a lie, they never started putting it together until they had the oilI've bought 2 vehicles from Thornhill and they will be my last!! Anyway after 3 weeks I finally have my truck back. And by the way my truck has just over 50,000 miles

I've had my truck for 3 years and have always taken it to Thorhill GM for service. I have never had to pay $168 for a simple oil change. No tire rotation, no nothing! A simple oil change. The price increased from $70-80 to $160-$180. I stated that I had never paid that much for an oil change onIy for them to look and me and not say a word. I have purchased 4 vehicles there and I have been to the service department for years and I have never seen it like this. Terrible!!!! Is someone else running the service department because it's being ran into the ground.
